Following Google’s best practice advice, we will undertake a four stage review of your site and deliver a clear, easy to understand checklist of actions to get you back up where you belong. If your site fails one of the stages, we’ll report back with an action plan. We’ll start the check again when you’ve completed the tasks on the plan.

Stage 1: Are you in the index?
We check to see whether your website is (still) in the index, or if Google for some reason has banned your site from its results. We’ll also check to see how Google is made aware of new content in your site.
Stage 2: Can Google find your new pages?
We’ll check that Google is able to find all the pages in your site, and that there’s nothing in the site that’s stopping Google from doing its job. We’ll check whether that are any redirected pages that are letting you down.
Stage 3: Can Google understand you?
We’ll check how your site looks to Google. Search engines often find non-text content such as videos and images difficult to deal with unless they are given some help. Flash and Silverlight based sites can pose particular problems. We’ll check what impact that your type of content has on your search results.
Stage 4: What’s your content like?
Lastly we’ll review how well your content (the words you use) match with the search terms that you think people will use to find you. Are you making best use of the meta tags and fields in your webpage headers? Are you describing your images in the best way to help the search engines find you?
Conditions
We will review your site following the four steps we describe above. If we are unable to complete one of the steps, we’ll let you know and tell you what needs to happen to fix the problem. We’ll also let you know what it would cost if you want us to deal with problem on your behalf. Often we will offer to fix the problem on a no fix, no fee basis.
If after 6 months from starting we are unable to move onto the next stage in the review because you haven’t been able to fix the initial problem we reserve the right to cancel the review. No refund will be applicable if this is the case.
We will charge £200 (+ VAT in the EU). The fee is payable in advance
Nick Prior Designs makes no specific claims about the outcome of our advice. We (or anybody else) cannot guarantee your website will be listed in any particular position by any web search engine. Equally we have no control over how the Search Engines go about ranking the results of their searches, and advice at one time may well differ from advice given later on.
